Triennale Museo del Design Italiano
This Museum of Italian Design presents a selection of the most iconic and representative art works of Italian design. The works on show are just some of the 1,600 objects in a large collection, chosen by an advisory committee that brings together some of the top names in the world of Italian design and architecture, such as Achille Castiglioni, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Vico Magistretti, Mario Bellini and Marco Zanuso.
Museo del Compasso d’Oro Adi
Since 1964, the Compasso d’Oro (Golden Compass) has been an international Design Award, a competition considered as the “Oscars” for industrial design. It is organized every two years by ADI, the Association for Industrial Design (which is member of ICSID, International Council of Societies of Industrial Design; BEDA, Bureau of European Design Associations; and ICOGRADA, International Council of Graphic Design Associations).
The ADI Compasso d’Oro Museum has been planned in refurbished industrial premises in Via Ceresio 7. See the Compasso d’Oro Museum website for updates.
